Vietnam photo rules and requirements for babies and children

Traveling with the youngest members of the family requires extra preparation. Here's how to ensure their passport and visa photos meet the requirements:

  • Solo photo: The child must be the only person in the photo. Group or family shots will be rejected, as well as photos where the adult's hands or arms are visible to hold the child.
  • Background: Use a white sheet to create a solid background if the child is lying down or seated. A car seat works really well!
  • Expression: Attempt to capture the photo with the child's eyes open, facing the camera directly.
  • Accessories: Remove toys, bottles, and pacifiers from the photo area.
